Saturday morning Soccer school – Next 6 week block

The next block of 6 weeks
will commence on Saturday 2nd of March. Due to the increase in
demand and attendance we need to ensure that all registration details for the
children are fully up to date. Therefore could we ask that all Parents complete
a new form prior to that date.
A reminder also that the
cost for each 6 weeks block is £5 per session or £25 if paying in advance for
all 6 days.
GV Soccer Fundraising evening – Saturday 23rd
March - Nags Head Pub
We hope everyone as well as
the children will attend this evening. There are some fantastic prizes to win
on the evening, signed football shirts, Spa weekends, Hotel stays and a Family
Holiday plus wine etc! All funds raised will be used to purchase more equipment
for the children, balls, Nets etc as well as entry fees for some tournaments
during the summer. Tickets are just £5 per couple, can be purchased on the
night. 7.30pm – till late….
Future Plans……
Midweek sessions. – As the weather gets better and nights brighter, we have been asked
about putting on some midweek sessions. In the next few weeks we will send out
separate registration forms and prospective dates and times.
GV Soccer Academy Coaching – Whilst our intention will always be to keep the
sessions fun based and open to all abilities, we have links with a few of the
Professional clubs in the Area and would like to offer some more technical based
sessions to the children. These will be smaller groups and will aimed at
improving individual skills, understanding of the basics of Football and start
to include awareness of game situations. Again, we will gauge interest in this
and propose to run these sessions alongside the Saturday Morning
School. If any parent
