Trafford FC Community Project

Trafford FC Community Project is a vibrant and active community project that aims to support football development and nurture the passion of the region behind around the Borough
The Community Scheme aims to offer many football based activities including regular fun coaching sessions, holiday activity courses, an extensive outreach programme, girls and ladies development opportunities plus much more. To find out more about your Community Project and how you can GET INVOLVED please read on.

The Community Manager for the Project is Garry Vaughan who is supported by a dedicated team of qualified Coaches, and Assistants, all of whom aim to provide the best service possible to our community via the Football club. A fact recognised by our award of the FA Charter Standard.

We know how important Football in the Community is to Children and Adults alike and and what a great example it sets to youngsters. Our simple aim is to in some way encourage that and to forge close links with everyone who takes part in our activities.. We have the talent and ambition to make it happen. We look forward with you to share that dream.

Schools Showcase initiative

•One of our first initiatives is to designate each of our home fixtures to showcasing local schools. This will involve inviting a whole school down on the day of a home game in the Evo Stik North Division 1

•Shawe View has won awards for its standards and facilities and we would like to involve more of the local children in our future. Hopefully like ourselves you will think this is something that the children at your school would enjoy and gain real benefit from.

•Every child from that days featured School gains free entry on the day and will receive a free match day pass for future games. (reduced admission for accompanying adults)

•Your school is showcased in our match day programme and on our community page on our website.

•Announcements on the PA system

•Upon arrival (1 hour and 15 minutes before Kick Off) a tour of our facilities and meet the players session will take place

•Your school football team (up to a max of 16 players) will be mascots for the day and accompany the teams on to the pitch before kick-off and will be photographed with them.

•At Half time your school team will play a game against each other on the pitch in front of our main stand.

• lf you have any questions please contact Garry Vaughan our Community Project Manager on on either – 0161 6932416 or 07917 797165.  or visit www.traffordfc.co.uk
